Imagine a hospital that offers fetal mutilation services. Say, removing limbs, poking out eyes, snipping off ears and noses, performing lobotomies. All in utero and with the mother’s consent. After the cutting, everyone would be stitched up, and the fetus would continue to gestate.
Horrifying? I certainly believe it would be. Yet abortion supporters have no grounds for objecting to this. If killing a fetus is moral then, a fortiori, mutilating a fetus is moral.
